We booked Holmeswood Coaches for a school trip to Bletchley Park. This was the first time we had used Holmeswood Coaches for a school trip, after a disappointing experience with another coach company) and I am 100% going to be using them again. From start to finish, the organisation was faultless, and they were even kind enough to give me a quick courtesy call the day before to ensure they had all the necessary details. On the day (6 am start!), the coach arrived spotless, and we reached our destination on time, even with a 10-minute service stop on the way. Darren, our driver, was very accommodating and made the 360-mile round trip with 60 students and 6 staff enjoyable and relaxing and even saved us a few quid in the process (M6 Toll)! Naturally, on the way back, we were caught in quite heavy traffic/ congestion on the M6. Not wanting to delay our travel much longer (due to his allocated driving time), Darren suggested diverting the coach and taking a more scenic but faster route instead. Darren went above and beyond for our students and even used his local knowledge of the different areas to entertain our students with interesting facts and details (The kids were very excited that they got to see a Tank!). He even gave a couple of curious students a quick tour of the coach when we returned. Thank you for making what could’ve been a very long and arduous day that little more stress-free and enjoyable.

We were quoted £700 for a journey from Preston to Blackpool then from Blackpool to Barton just near Garstang and then back to preston again. The Quote was decent however, we rang them around 6 weeks before to say we don’t wish to go Blackpool no more only from Preston to Barton and then back to preston. The quote did not change it Stayed at £700. We asked them to kindly change the quote as there is now one less journey. Lady on the other line was quite rude and said petrol prices are quite high these days so we cannot change. Absolutely disappointed

The 347 tried to drive me off the road! As a cyclist it is a part of life, close calls and near misses but when a bus (6pm 7th May '21 Southbound from Croston) decides to overtake on a bend with a car coming the other way and then decides it's either him or me it's not on! Sort your drivers out and explain that forcing a cyclist onto the grass verge and then driving off is not on! Give your drivers a day on a bike and see what we have to put up with sometimes! I couldn't have been further to the left either as I ended up on the grass verge and nearly in the ditch!

Considering you not only tender to LCC for school contracts but are also classed as professional drivers I would say you're doing a pretty bad job. There is an inside of a roundabout and an outside of a roundabout, the driver today decided he needed the whole roundabout - you know the rules, stop being lazy.

Having had the need to report an issue with an individual driver on the Lowmoor Circular route in Clitheroe, I phoned the depot to report this. The response was simply that as a cyclist I should be ‘as far to the left as possible at all times, allowing vehicles to pass’ This person claimed to hold a bus licence and yet is unaware of how the Highway Code informs us to share the road safely.

been traveling on these buses daily due to my husband being in Blackburn hospital, every time I've been on them the bus driver is very rude and doesn't wait for passengers to sit down before setting off. heard other passengers complaining to the driver about the way they drive. they need to learn how to drive properly and learn how to treat passengers.

Poor driver etiquette both journeys. Lack of required legal stops. Driver didn't shut up talking to second driver telling him not to panic. Travelled from Dover to Shropshire with only changeover stop. The driver did not appear safe to drive. Eating n drinking at the wheel. I did not feel safe or reassured. Toilet full by Shropshire and people travelling further north. Such a relief to get off the coach
