Moved a friend's boat onto their tractor/cradle combo for blacking etc. Nice people and a professional set up. Recommend. Thank you from Marc and Joanne.

Only visited here to go to the Boathouse Restaurant but it is a lovely place on a nice Sunny day.

Very nice area with walks along the canal. There are working locks and we gave a hand to some people travelling by barge to unlock the gates. Kids found it fascinating watching the water equalise and seeing how everything worked. Really nice place to visit.

We always have good food here and we can never resist the cakes which look amazing and better yet, live up to the appearances. For a small cafe they have a surprisingly fancy changing specials menu with options that can include an amazing chicken and beef sizzler, among many others. Their vegetarian options are a little limited in places, for example the hot sandwiches *all* contain meat, but there are plenty of pescatarian options, plus the waitresses are helpful so I'm sure if you asked they could sort something out for you.

In Rufford village, very pretty. Lots of seating to sit and watch the many narrow boats or lovely walks along the canal.
