The cricket pitch is on a country lane where I used to live. No amenities apart from the cricket building where I THINK ...they do food and hot drinks when in use. Mere Sands Nature Reserve is just past the cricket building which is a really nice place to go for a walk (dogs have to be on the lead), there are about 5 lakes, various hides and there is even a bat tower.....lovely and peaceful...
