Lovely circular walk with hides along the way to look out over the lake. Lots of bat boxes in the trees and benches to sit in along the route. The cafe is lovely (fabulous homemade scones with clotted cream and jam!) And there is a little gift shop. ANPR parking is £4 payable before you leave by cash or card.

Lovely frosty day ideal for a walk around. We walked from Rufford a charge for cars. Good bird life and magnificent show of fungi. Dogs to be kept on leads. More maps at entrance points would be good we arrived via the cricket field and nothing to inform us of location or paths. Cafe open end of the week, needs a general clean and tidy up. Coffee from a machine help yourself limited food available and rather expensive. Overall we enjoyed the visit.

These woods are a great nature walk. There's lots of paths to take, brambles to pick and lots of spaces to sit and enjoy the outdoors. £4 parking for the whole day and the shop and cafe are open until 4pm where you can but some plants, logs and other nic nacs.

A lovely place to go back to nature with a peaceful walk through the woods around the two big lakes. It was all topped off with a super bite and drink at the welcoming cafe. (Be aware that the toilets and the cafe both close at 4 p.m. prompt. )

Absolutely lovely, kept in really good condition and is a lovely route. We went in the evening and all the birds were so noisy we loved it! Dogs are allowed but must be kept on leads Parking is £4 regardless of how long you stay You can walk around anytime, the route is always open, however the cafe/ visitors area closes.
